Vector IN PROGRESS
HI!
In the previous post, I discussed the inspiration for this vector graphic project. This is an update as to how the program and process are treating me!
I have never used a vector program before, however, after some quick youtube videos and trial and error, I came to enjoy the program. I used Inkscape since I couldn’t figure out how to set up Adobe Illustrator on my computer. Anyways, at first, I felt like a lost puppy trying to navigate the program. Yet, after learning about how to edit an image, object, line, path, etc, it became clearer on how to navigate the program. The design that I am going to create is 2-3 silhouettes of people, with a glimpse as to what that person is driven by in their minds. I found it a little difficult trying to make the curvature of the human face and body but seemed to figure it out a bit.
I have never used Adobe Photoshop before, therefore, I cannot compare the degree of difficulty. However, this program reminded me of the graphic design software that most computers have pre-installed, “Paint.” Though the “Paint” software is a lot easier to use, the Inkscape platform was like a super upgrade version of “Paint.
