HOLY COW!

Before you say anything, yes... I had to make that very cheesy comment. Moving on..

Gust Brothers has been a tradition in my family for as long as I can remember. This place has grown from a small pumpkin path in BFE Ottawa lake Michigan to a popular farm for seasonal events. With the growing popularity of this farm over the years, they have been able to expand and incorporate some amazing new activities. I swear that each year is truly a new experience! 

This last year a huge cow was plopped in the middle of a field along side a couple hay bales to climb and sit on. Come to find out that the cows name is Ruthie and you can find her on Twitter @Ruthiethecow, which is kind of awesome if I had Twitter.

Pros:

  •  SO MANY THINGS TO DO!
    • Upick Pumpkin Patch Field
    • Go in the barn to see the cows, goats, and pigs 
    • Bunny Barn: My personal favorite, you can actually get in with the bunnies and hold and pet them. In addition, they are for sale but are given away at the end of the Halloween season. 
    • Corn Maze 
    • Upick Sunflower field: In the Spring/Summer 
    • Upick vegatables 
Cons: 
  • Popular: Has grown so much in popularity, a lot of people from the surrounding towns come to satisfy their fall activity needs. This place will most likely be busy just so you are aware.
